About B.A. Emmons Homes
At B.A. Emmons Homes, we take pride in over 50 years experience in building homes and commercial construction. Our company is family owned and operated. Many of the homes just outside the east gate to Fort Hood were built by A.L. Emmons. His son, B.A. Emmons, worked along side his father in his early years, learning the trade. B.A. joined the Army and served our country from 1968 to 1971, serving a tour in Vietnam from 1968-1969. B.A. returned home after his service and joined forces with his father again. After his father's passing in 1972, B.A. and his wife, Connie, continued the business and created a strong backbone that is still practiced today. Connie Emmons worked along side B.A. Emmons, taking care of bookkeeping, decorating, and advertising.
B.A. Emmons was a proud member of the Killeen Chamber of Commerce and served on the Board of Directors. B.A. served as a past President of the Central Texas Home Builders Association. B.A. has since retired in 2000 and passed on the business to his two sons, Michael and Curtis Emmons. Mike and Curtis both, still to this day, carry on their father's pride of supervising each and every home and commercial project. Curtis Emmons took his home building education to a higher level, attaining a certificate of graduation as a Certified Master Builder. Michael Emmons served on the Board of Directors for Killeen Chamber of Commerce, was a past Chair of Governmental Affairs, and served as past President of the Central Texas Home Builders Association. Michael and Curtis are both members of the City of Killeen, Harker Heights, Copperas Cove, and Temple Chambers of Commerce.
Mike and Curtis Emmons continue the legacy today that their Grandfather and Dad started many years ago. They both strive daily to make their homebuilding and construction company's a smooth running process for everyone. These brothers look forward to hearing from you soon and remember, at B.A. Emmons Homes, Mike and Curtis truly build homes, not just houses!
